The hotel is located downtown, which makes it a good choice if you have appointments around here or want to go to some touristic destinations nearby (Beale St, Lorraine museum and so on). The staff is friendly enough should you need assistance. Parking is offered and there is also a valet service available. Rooms are comfortable and clean, with bathtubs in the bathroom. In all, a good place to stay. Oh, and the WiFi is free in the room.

********Alert! Avoid This Property - Care For Your Self Respect****** Unfortunately there is no zero or Negatives to express my utter dissatisfaction and displeasure with this Motel's, oh! I mean Hotel's (pun intended) Front Desk/ Customer Service staff at the time of check-in and for cleanliness in the room. Traveling with my family last weekend for an event and staying here gave me an agonizing experience of wait time for check-in, rude behaviour and bad attitude. I saw the Front Desk staff yelling at a couple of Guests while Checking In!! Wow! Seriously! Who's Managing this property and do they even know what's going on? My request for adding a Guest to my reserved room was denied and was put to painful process of multiple visit to Front Desk to help Guests check-in. Standard response to my request was a "No, can't Help!" Cleaning staff did not change bed sheets for the second night/ blood stained covers, etc..didn't clean the rooms, emptied trash etc.. Ain't coming back even if it is Free. I am a seasoned traveler across the Globe and have stayed with Major Brands in the Hospitality Industry. I had great experience with Marriott Brand and Sheraton, in fact it was my favorite until this downtown Memphis shaggy Sheraton Staff proved me wrong!! Sad state of affairs and recommend highly to stay away from this property until they fix the mess, which is FIRE the staff managing the Front Desk and so called Customer Service (or should I say dis-service?). Also, Train the staff for customer service even at times of stress!

Loved. Loved. Loved our stay. Every staff member was super nice at every single interaction we had with them. Views were incredible. Room was nice and comfortable. Club lounge was awesome - spacious with great views as well. Food was great. The main thing was the staff. A+++

The lobby and the bar were nice, I would have given them 4 stars alone. But my room's cleanliness was that of a Motel 8. The toilet had a hair in it, 3 of my towns had hair or minor stains, there was a hair in my bed and as I laid down at night I roll over and see this dirty pillow in my face (see photo). They definitely don't clean well. You could see all the dust collecting under the nightstand where the vacuum can't reach. Also, Google has 'Free Breakfast' as an amenity but there was no free breakfast I could find; only an $18 buffet. Perhaps I'm being too harsh as this might just be the best option in Memphis but for the $/night and calling themselves a 4-Start hotel I expected more. If the hotel was $30+ less a night and it was a 3-Star hotel I probably would have given them 3-4 stars because that's what I would have expected. Overall I would not recommend.

My son and I stayed here for our visit to Memphis three weeks ago for Junior Olympics. The location is right across the street from the convention center, but you do need to go outside to enter. Our room/bathroom were large and the beds were comfortable. However, there was a distinct damp/mold smell. I did not see signs of a water leak. When my son and I woke up after our first night, we were both quite congested and coughing. This had a profound effect on his performance at his event that morning. I approached the staff about changing rooms. The staff was dismissive and I was told that there were no rooms available. I attempted to move to another hotel, but hotels were sold out. When we returned to our room that night I went back to the front desk. I was told that maintenance would come up and have a look, which they did quickly. Maintenance went straight to the windows and pulled back the curtains and sheers. The windowsill was covered in water the entire length of the windows. Once maintenance reported to the front desk, another room was found for us. The room we moved to was much smaller, but free from damp/mold. However, the refrigerator was so frosted over that the door would not close and had begun to leak on the floor. I spent an hour defrosting it with a blow dryer , so I could close the door and stop the leak. I WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN. Everything about this hotel was difficult and stressful during a stay for a very important event. It took me 30 minutes to get the computers in the lobby to connect, so I could print my boarding passes. From the staff at the desk to the restaurant and bar, no one seemed happy to be working there and it showed in the condition of the room.
