The rooms are clean and spacious, and the location is great for downtown attractions. The staff are not just friendly but in my experience go out of their way to assist. We asked the hotel to call a cab, but when the cab took too long to arrive a staff member drove us himself to our destination! That is service! Highly recommended!

Good location, but this is about the only good point. $309 per night for a two-room suite, even at a corporate discount rate (Sheraton is $219). Valet service is $23 per day. $115 pet fee (Sheraton is free). Free breakfast was par with any other hotel (i.e., fair, but not particularly good). Lobby, halls and suite were stuffy and not clean smelling. Our suite was poorly lit and not entirely clean. Crumbs left on the kitchen counter, dirty dish and shelf in the refrigerator, hair on the bathroom sink and commode, and mildew on the floor of the shower in one of the bathrooms. Sagging sofa in the living area. Will not stay here again.

The location was perfect area of the city and convenient to walk everywhere. It was also a nice overall hotel from the outside. Guest service was very friendly however there were two times I went to the front desk and noone was there. The room quality was nice and had a good lay out. The elevator was fairly slow and there were only two. The amenities at night were very nice addition.

Loved this place! The staff are a blessing and we finally rested as if we were home. Thank you, it is always good to see a smiling face.

Hotel is historic, and some of the rooms can be a bit dated, but the staff is extremely helpful. The valets are excellent. Has the best water pressure of any hotel I have ever been. Perfect location within walking distance of everything downtown. Most other areas of Memphis are an $8 Uber away.
