On our many trips to Tucson we used to always stay here. Never again. The manager, Daniel - who will try to sugarcoat this review, be assured - has given it over nightly to a raucous, foul-mouthed, cussing, smoking, drinking, noisy, inconsiderate group of workers who're monopolizing all the nice courtyard/pool-facing balcony rooms (one of which we had reserved but, of course, never got, being stuck instead in a room facing the noisy boulevard with a window that didn't open). But what do we matter? WE aren't bringing in corporate money. These hotel guests, AKA road crew workers, think nothing of standing around smoking EVERYWHERE and ANYWHERE they wish, and not a word is said. Their language is atrocious. They start their diesel engines at 5 AM and let them idle for 30 minutes. They leave their trash (beer bottles and the like) in the corridors after they're done with their outside imbibing. And to add insult to injury they leave their doors open in the evenings so you can be privy to every cuss word and the foul language that emanates from within during the course of their "private" conversations. If you like the smell of cigarette smoke, then you're in luck! Simply stand ANYWHERE on the property and it will be sure to waft into your room through the air conditioner and under the doors. This voluminous, billowing cloud of choking smoke begins at 5 AM when these workers go off to work, stomping and cussing and slamming doors as they depart, thinking nothing of others' who are sleeping and PAYING for their stay - and then resumes at days' end, when these "guests"return and resume their inconsiderate behavior once more. Just what I want in a vacation stay, don't you? When we asked why we didn't get the room with the pool view that we had RESERVED, the manager told us "oh, those rooms are booked for three months at a time." Every balcony room? Booked for three months solid? What he omitted to say was that HE had sold out to corporate, putting a noisy, inconsiderate, cussing, swearing, drinking bunch of road crew workers in there for three months because they are bringing in over $20,000. This, naturally, makes him look good, the rest of us and our consideration, stay, and money be damned. If you want a place that values corporate money over the little guys', then this is the hotel for you! If you want a place where your children/grandchildren can learn every swear word ever coined, then this is the hotel for you! If you want a place that won't honor your quiet time, privacy, consideration, reservations, complaints, lungs and sleep, and furthermore exposes your grand/children to a whole new bevy of words that will make them sound tragically hip, then by all means, stay here. Daniel will be more than happy to take your money, because he values that almighty dollar over all else. I feel truly sorry for the employees, as they are a hard-working bunch of people who're quick with a genuine smile and to offer a helping hand. Please note that this review in no way reflects them or the job they do. It's the Great Manager, the one with the phony smile and the cookie tray who's always quick to placate you with flimsy answers, who is the culprit here. If we could give our stay "zero" stars, we would. We've been to quieter amusement parks and casinos, stayed in their hotels and heard not a single word of disturbance. Although it may not seem the case, we really dislike giving negative reviews but in this case we feel it's merited. You've ruined it, Daniel, totally, absolutely, ruined what once was a reasonably-priced, fun, clean, enjoyable place to stay. Good job, manager dude. We hope you're happy with the money this endeavor has brought you because it has come at the expense of other guests' positive reviews and future patronage. I’m currently staying here for a week and absolutely no complaints so far. The bed is comfortable and the room is nice. The pool area is clean and the water isn’t overly chlorinated. It’s also pretty big! Haven’t tried the breakfast yet but there is free lemonade in the lobby which is delicious. The staff were awesome at check in too. The hold fee for incidentals is only $75 which is great. Lots of shopping and food within walking distance.

One of those places built in the 1970s so the rooms are huge. They are fully updated on the interior, fridge, micro -all new and matching - with SUPER comfortable beds. It was so nice that I stayed an extra night just to rest. You walk through an interior hallway to get to your room, but another holdover from the 70s is that the room has large sliding glass doors and you can park outside of it. You don't have to leave your car where you can't see it or get to it in a hurry. I will be staying here again.

This hotel was so nice, and very clean. The staff is more than happy to accommodate your needs and the beds are extremely comfortable. I slept like i was a year old again and the view was not terrible at all! I got a nice overlook of tucson and the mountains. The breakfast was equally as appetizing and delicious! A highly recommended choice of hotel in Tucson if you ask me!
