  Clean, simple, and in a great location. Some floors belong to The Pod Room on Powell. Locker space could be a bit bigger but enough for a small carry on and a bag pack. Price is fair. Don’t expect anything fancy but perfect for those on a budget. Apparently the other pod room is equipped with key cards but this one uses a standard set of keys. If you forget toothpaste or need a quick snack, Walgreens is literally next door. Forget to bring enough clean underwear? H&M is across the street.

  Cute and cozy hotel in the heart of SF. I loved the location, Union Square and all top brand stores are around the corner, continent for shopping trips :) the room was clean and had everything I needed. they could probably upgrade to a bit better toiletries, but I had my stuff with me so I can't judge theirs based on just the looks... The receptionist was extremely nice and accommodative, she upgraded us to a bigger room with cool views to Powell Street 😎

  The location is great. Right on the Old Trolley line that is a block away from the bottom of Powell where it starts. The price CANNOT be beat. The room had a bit of a dorm feel to it, but it had everything you need. Spacious private bathroom. Staff was kind and answered questions. Are there homeless outside, yes that goes for all of SF areas that I saw, but it is a very safe area with a nice Walgreen next door with anything you. Union Square is very close. I was solo for a work trip. Highly recommend for the price.

  Always kind service, always clean, a great steal in a great and accessible area. They have accidentally double charged my card for my most recent stay but I believe it has to do with the way I booked (through a third party) and they always correct it without hesitation. Mistakes can happen and sometimes I find it more valuable to know how it is taken care of to truly know a place and the integrity of staff. Rooms have the amenities you want including a fridge and a hot water kettle. Bags can be held at the nearby sister hotel around the block. In a walkable city like SF, this was a great necessity.
