  A decent hotel. Nice cosy bar with a limited food menu but everything on the menu is great. Good small coffee shop in the lobby. Rooms are clean and really comfy beds. It does get a little loud in the area and you may wake up from a police siren in the middle of the night.

  The hotel as met all standards I would expect with visiting San Francisco for the first time. My girlfriend and I stayed in a one Queen bed room for three nights and there was plenty of space for the two of us (the room is mainly for rest and sleeping obviously). The bathroom is fairly small but more than sufficient. Also had an updated TV and full direct TV cable. Staff was very friendly at all times and helpful with questions. Location is very close to Union Square, we had no issue with walking to other top spots like Ferry Building Marketplace and Fisherman's Warf. Overall, no major complaints.

  Great location, confortable bedding. Room is spacious but a bit on the dark side. Some rooms have a view. Lobby is stylish. Stays come with a credit in the on site restaurant.

  Hotel is in a bad area. Room was small but clean. Bed was comfortable. My particular room had no view. Hotel staff was nice. And the food and drink items in the room were $4 and up. Very overpriced in my opinion.

  We enjoyed the location and the staff at the Tilden. Rooms were small but clean, very thin walls. Multiple hidden charges that they dont explain to you at check in or check out, they just send you a receipt. Great valet parking for a decent price. Douglas room packed and not many places to sit. We liked that it was a 12pm check out. They also checked us in 2 hours early which was awesome.
