::Great location to Bourbon St and Street car stop. Don't need a car or Taxi to get to places. Spacious rooms and standard breakfast. Quiet rooms. Elevators were under repair most of the days we were there and being on the 14th floor took a while... but we were on vacation. Hope the connector door to the Chase building was open 24 hrs. Will stay there again.

::I want to give this hotel a good review, but I can't. Valet service great. Rooms clean and spacious. Close to French Quarter. However, housekeeping lacking and front desk/management doesn't care. Housekeeping doesn't come until 4:00 p.m. or later most days. When I requested they come earlier the next day while we were out, they did not. Our garbage were overflowing, towels weren't changed, etc. We went two days in a row without housekeeping service. When reported to front desk, they were rude and management never addressed our issues. Never again.

::Very comfortable room. The fitness center is great, and breakfast was very good too. Easily walkable to a lot of attractions including Bourbon Street, but sufficiently off the beaten path as to not be super busy all the time.

::Great location, well run, busy hotel located on the American side of town on the border of the French Quarter. The property is actually on Bourbon St but since the city is divided by Canal St it has a different name- Carondelet St. The property is an older building that's been upgraded over the years. The stairwell has a fifties-sixties charm to it. Staff are friendly and professional. Breakfast is included and is the standard hotel fare of eggs, hash browns, make-your-own waffles, juices, hot beverages, fruits, breads, etc. The rooms are spacious but lack a good view as the hotel has office buildings surrounding it. Beds are comfortable and there was no outside sound from the street or the other rooms (we got a room on the side of the building) Overall a good hotel in a safe area of the city.

::We had a pleasant stay at the Hampton, it has a little wear and tear but it is going on 100 years old and that gives it character and charm. Everything was clean comfortable and was very well managed. The staff couldn't have been nicer and the guys at the front door we're very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Conveniently located too. They had a well staffed and ample breakfast also. We would and hope to stay here again.
