Quaint but not cutsie. High ceilings and nice porch topped by a balcony. Nicely set back from the street, which is unusual for the French Quarter. Really nice staff.

Truly a beautiful and historic hotel. I loved every bit of the decor and the location couldn't be better. Quiet but in close proximity to everything in the Quarter. We would stay again.

Beautiful place and the day shift staff is wonderful. The late night into the morning guy is horrible!!! He shuts off the lights so he can sleep. I woke him up to let him know there was no hot water. He ask what time it was and told me it wasn't his problem and went back to sleep.

We love this place, we stay there whenever we can. Sandy at the front desk is the best!! She always goes above and beyond to make every guest happy. The only problem is the night frontdesk guy,Eddie, always turns off all the lights, inside and out! An old couple asked us if we knew where he was at 2am(he was outside down the street,we saw him, for like 3 hours) because they had no electricity in their room . found out later he turns off hall lights, that room also goes off. And none was happy about coming back late at night to a pitch black hotel, let alone our cars in the blacked out parking area. If Miss Sandy could work there 24 hours a day it would run smoother loll! Erin is also a sweetheart, welcoming and friendly.
