::I write this as I sit in the lobby at the Bourbon St. Hotel. It's nice enough in the lobby. I got here around 12:15 PM; it's now 3:45 PM. When I checked in they told me it would be a little while before my room was ready. It happens. Okay. I went to lunch. Came back at 1:30. Not ready but others are now in line. They all have rooms apparently and they are giving out keys. Left again. Came back at 2:30. No good. Left again. Came back at 3:30. No good. Left again. It's almost 4. Paint your own picture.

::This hotel is nice! The staff was friendly, helpful and really made the stay wonderful. The location is perfect. Despite my complaints, I would stay here again and again. It in no way ruined my trip. One, the mattresses in our room needed updated, and the doors shut hard. It seemed everyone was slamming their doors. I mention in hopes they will fix it (the mattresses. I'm sure the doors were the crowd that weekend). Highly recommended.

::We were married at the Bourbon Orleans this past weekend and the experience was absolutely outstanding. The staff, the location, and the service were all absolutely top notch. Megan, their wedding/catering coordinator, was truly out of this world. She has guided this process for so many months, and everything went off without a hitch. She stayed around during/after the ceremony to make sure things went according to plan, way beyond anything we were expecting. As far as facilities go, both the Andrew Jackson Suite and St Ann Cottage are amazing! Andrew Jackson Suite - as far as a hotel room, it has one drawback and that is noise. That aside, the room is amazing and huge with multiple sitting areas, a living room, multiple bathrooms, and wonderful sleeping area. St Ann Cottage - an immaculate place for a wedding. The courtyard, with nice weather, is honestly the stuff of wedding dreams. Don't skip the bar downstairs! The bartenders were so friendly and helpful, and made excellent drinks!

::We got married on Saturday in the St. Ann’s Cottage and stayed in the Andrew Jackson Suite. It was such a magical weekend that would not have been possible without the Bourbon Orleans staff. Megan, our coordinator, was amazing. For 6 months prior up to the day of, she took extra time and care to make sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted. All of the staff knew who we were all weekend and congratulated us whenever we saw them. The hotel itself is beautiful and in the heart of the French quarter. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. Thank you so much Bourbon Orleans.

::Nice room with big bathroom. Room is clean enough, but can use a deep clean. They provide free bottled water daily, which is a nice touch. Amazing location, which is super convenient in the French district. The hotel's heated salt water pool is a nice way to relax after a long day walking around the city. Staff is super friendly and helpful, and provided several great recommendations on where to eat, see a good jazz show, etc. They also do a free hotel ghost tour every Thursday night. Our tour ended with complimentary wine, cheese, and fruit on the hotel's grand balcony, which was a pleasant surprise.
