We just came here for the hot chocolate, it was okay. The server was nice, but not very attentive (we sat at the bar and it was totally empty). It came in the famous "hug" mug, which I'd never tried before. I have to say, I totally disagree with the design of this. The hot chocolate was piping hot, the whole idea of the mug is that you cup it with two hands so you're "hugging" it when sipping it. Since the beverage is so warm, the cup was actually way too warm to hold until the drink was lukewarm. I really don't understand the design concept here? The waiter had to give me a napkin to be able to drink the hot chocolate. A little overpriced for hot chocolate, to be completely honest. I went to the gift shop afterwards and waited forever and a half while the associate helped someone else out (there's only one working for the store). After she had finished helping out the other customer, she failed to come over and ask me if I needed assistance (I knew exactly what I wanted, I just couldn't reach it). I had to go over to the cash wrap to ask her for help. The only place to get this cup was way above my head height, and the woman wasn't sure if she had a latter.... what was supposed to be the plan, here? Still, this place has quite an extensive dessert menu if you've got a sweet tooth and need to get your fix.

The restaurant's vibe is pretty cool. I liked the veggie burger but the chocolate pizza was disappointing. It was literally just chocolate, peanut butter, and marshmallows on bread. Do not recommend. I will commend the service though, because the lady who helped us was very patient with us first timers and friendly.

This place is the worst in my opinion. I've been here a few times and even if you walk in and there tables available. They won't give it up, because of reservations that have for later that night. It sucks and when you walk in, the smell is overpowering and it's not even of chocolate. Don't waste your time. I have found them to be super rude and when I expressed I had a severe nut allergy the waitress nor the manager did anything to modify what I wanted. So we left. Spend your money elsewhere. This place isn't worth the aggravation.

Came here with my friends and was told that this restaurant was a go to in Boston. The host was incredibly helpful and the food was amazing. The only snag in our entire evening was our waitress Barbra. In no way did she make us feel welcomed, she ignored our table until she asked if we were ready for the check. The experience was fantastic yet unfortunate that we had a waitress that presented herself and the restaurant in the manner that she did. If you come here you will love the atmosphere and food but make sure you have a server who cares. If I could have tipped 0 I would have. Overall Food: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Waitstaff: 1 Host: make the man a server he could outshine everyone. Honestly he saved the overall review.

My God. Awesome place, it's on Boylston st, so you will spend a little money, but very worth it. The pizza we ordered was amazing, great display too. Good staff, went with a friend here last and bought her 1 year old, and staff was very helpful to get us seated with baby seat. Desert was awesome too! I love the chocolate themed foods.
