The hotel had a great location and the lobby was beautiful. However for the high price the room was very small and not updated recently and the view was of another wall. There were several weddings and conferences when I was there so made navigating the entry and lobby very challenging. The doormen pretty much ignored most as there were too many people coming and going for them to welcome everyone. The restaurant was pretty basic not bad but one wouldn’t go out of one’s way to go twice and again was too crowded. I would definitely go somewhere smaller and not as hectic with more modern amenities next time.

The Fairmont Copley Plaza was truly a dream wedding venue! From our first encounter with Alice Fay, Head Event Coordinator, to the day of the wedding, everything was truly perfect. Alice was extremely responsive via email and phone, and the Fairmont was super flexible with all of our asks and needs. Alice made the daunting wedding process feel seamless and was always able to answer my questions with ease. The tasting experience was incredible and included choice of wine as well as 3x starters, and 2x options each of meat, fish, and vegetarian to try. They were also super helpful with tips and tricks on what to do with folks with allergies and could even create dishes for you if there was something that you really wanted that wasn't on the menu. Alice worked seamlessly with our other vendors such as the band and photo booth to ensure they had everything they needed on the night of so that things could run smoothly. She truly has seen it all and the amount of tips and tricks that were shared were priceless. From the day we got there before the wedding, I felt truly like royalty. All the staff was so nice and accommodating. The food came out quickly and was extremely delicious - not like normal wedding food that is usually only ok - we really felt like we were eating at a high end restaurant. The night of the wedding they also had a suite prepared for us with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries - truly no detail was missed! I could not recommend this venue more if you are thinking about it for your wedding or next event. It was literally a dream come true!

WOW. Our long weekend trip to Boston was spectacular thanks to the wonderful room, service, and amenities of the Fairmont Copley. For our stay, we upgraded to the 6th floor (king bed) with a view overlooking Copley Square, Trinity Church, and Boston Public Library - well worth it! The city lights provided a spectacular show at night. I requested a special treat each of the three nights we stayed - truffles, milk and cookies, and chocolate-covered strawberries - in celebration of our anniversary. After a busy day hiking the city, it was welcoming to arrive back in our rooms with treats ready to be devoured. The room was clean and bathroom large. We had drinks and appetizers almost each night at the beautiful hotel bar. Overall, it was a great stay. I highly recommend and will plan to stay at this hotel for our next visit.

Awesome experience, staff was amazing! For the age of the hotel it was in extremely great condition. Walking distance to great restaurants & beautiful sightseeing. Room was extremely clean, bed was extraordinarily comfortable. Thanks for a great stay! Would recommend any family or friend to check it out

The hotel is all about location and the lobby. The rooms were nice and spacious, but nothing special, it was okay. The lobby is stunning and beautiful, but with limited things to do. The check-in lady was not so welcoming, even a little rude, but the rest of the staff were super nice. The restaurant of the hotel was beautiful, the bar and everything but the menu so pricey for the food they serve, but I guess I was paying for the place because the food was nothing to see. The location is exceptional with excellent restaurants around and perfects to walk the city, very close to everything. If I go next time, probably I would not book this hotel, but it was nice to give it a try.
