EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS!!- I didn't expect too much for this hotel... I stayed here for NYE for an event in the city. (I live 20 mins away from here but I had friends who needed a place to stay, so I'm already familiar with the city somewhat) Hotel staff was very nice- the gentleman provided complimentary champagne (because it was NYE) and offered snacks. The lobby was pretty but outdated- which made me question how my room looked. My room was fully renovated with comfortable beds, very clean bathroom, and a city view. Other reviews mentioned about the location being 'not the best', I felt safe since I did have others with me. Location was very lit up with lights but you will have to walk for a convenience store or food. Parking lot was small, and it does cost $15, which I wasn't aware of. My car was safe though. Would definitely stay here again. No complains at all and my rate was the best I could find in the city, especially on NYE.

The Front desk clerk stated she was upgrading my room from a King to a two bed queen and jacuzzi tub. The room 1001 was located on the ground floor. The jacuzzi tub water was brown. (Did not use it) the room smelled like mildew and mold in the air. The portable A/C unit leaked all on the floor. I almost slipped and fell while heading to the bathroom from the floor being wet. The shower water ran on to the bathroom floor. One bed was a king. the other bed was a queen. I frequent Holiday Inn Properties, this by far was the worst experience I have ever had.

We actually didn't stay here. I have a service dog due to a heart condition as well as mobility issues. Out of courtesy we told them I would have my service dog with us. The man on the phone said it would be $50 more to bring my service dog. Just so your aware that is illegal, I should have kept my mouth shut and not even said anything. I understand there is a lot of "fake service dogs" out there these days but I have paperwork as well as a disability that can be seen. Very disheartening. We ended up staying elsewhere because I can't be without my support in case I have an emergency. When we called back the next day to speak with a manager and he couldn’t be bothered with us and of course the lady working the front desk couldn’t do anything about it. We will now be going to corporate.

Where do I start. We stayed the night before our Royal Caribbean cruise. The room was $200 but they keep your car until you return from the cruise. The room was kinda clean. The room was warm when we arrived and after we deciphered the controls it took a long time to cool down. The bathroom was a trip. We had to step up to the tub and steep up into the tub. Coming out with wet feet was precarious. The hair drier didn’t work because the outlet didn’t work. The noise at night between the sirens and motorcycles was crazy. The ice machine on floor two was out had to go to third floor. Breakfast was good and the staff very nice. Mens room in the lobby was out. Asked for extra pillows and were told they didn’t have any…ugh! Hope I don’t have to stay here again.

I am not sure what to say. My experience here was horrible and I will spare you with details for the sake of the review. There was one employee in particular that caused issues with me. I am going to say this in all caps BE VERY VERY CAREFUL IF YOU ARE TRAVELING ALONE. The room was okay. Everything else was a bust. The parking situation was a mess. The attempt at getting the parking situation figured out caused me more stress than anything. A particular staff member harassed me when I just wanted information. I can't comment on the location because my situation with hotel staff was so bizarre I ended up driving home an entire day early. I did not finish the trip, returned to safety, spoke with professionals that helped ensure my safety, and ultimately was provided a refund for my stay. Once again, please, IF YOU ARE TRAVELING ALONE, SKIP THIS HOTEL
