::Great place to stay in Oakland on a budget. Cassandra is really nice and the proximity to the BART is really nice. Not in a great neighborhood though, so wouldn't recommend going out at night. Felt safe in the house though and the other guests were all friendly. Best part is that Cassandra bakes some times! Today I had peach cobbler tacos. :)

::Wonderful space and host, minimalist, but clean and functional. It’s right next to BART where you can take a train in all directions! highly recomend
