  Thumbs up to the friendly and knowledgeable staff at Cowtown. They offer fair prices when they could probably get away with paying less. They'll spend time with you to let you know what you have even if you don't sell it to them. I've been to pawn shops, and other dealers, but no one has been as helpful and fair as Cowtown. Keep up the good work.

  I was offered a price on some coins. The offer was far too low for even melt value. I explained again what it was and they went on about the purity,etc. She asked if I wanted to have them look at it again. Seeing how they didn't know what it was the first time, I passed. Took the coins to another establishment and received an offer of %50 more than what these guys were offering. Pays to shop around!

  I had a wonderful experience with the staff at Cowtown Gold and Silver. I stopped in there last week to sell some old jewelry and was offered more there than 2 other places.

  DO NOT NOT NOT go here! I had been before and wonder now how much I was screwed. I went in Friday May 26, 2017 (& I KNOW she will remember me as my necklace was rare) and I had an 18k Teri colored gold omega necklace 23.3 grams clearly stamped with purity from Saudi Arabia. I had an appraisal from Haltoms jewelry from 15 years ago showing 18k and $600. There's a big monetary difference in 14 And 18k. She tests it yet I can't see, she tells me it's coming back 14k. She said "ill offer you a little more than what it's worth" and offered $370. I took it and left in tears. Remembered my friend who owns Arlington pawn. He said he would do it for me, took it there, he and his gold melt guy BOTH verified 110% 18k without a doubt. I got $640 for it. I was in one of the worst financial binds in my life and she had the nerve to lie to my face and try to rip me off. I'm thankful I had the sense to grab and go. Go to Arlington pawn ask for BC. He won't lie!

  Excellent service. Came in with 30 rolls of vintage pennies and they helped me go through all of them to find the wheat pennies. Then they bought whatever pennies were just normal that I had leftover so that I wouldn't have to go to the bank separately. Such an awesome staff.
