::Terrible. BofA held my funds for 4-5 days. The cheque came from Charles Scwab's BoFA account and I deposited it through their drivethrough ATM because this location closes at 4. Many of their customers finish work at 5. They need to change their office hours. and be available for service to their customers.

::Worst bank ever. This is the second time I come where they have more greeters than they do bank tellers. Right now there is a greeter but no bank teller. How does that make any sense?? Management needs to get it together.

::I have filed a complaint with corporate and are in the process of cancelling ALL my accounts with Bank of America because of the way your associates treated me today. Corporate gave me your contacts and encouraged me to reach out to you all. At around 1pm today, I was waiting in line to withdraw $800 at the South Shore Alameda Branch. One of the customers in front was taking longer than expected. Myself and a few others were quite frustrated with the wait. Another teller by the business services was opened but not the consumer tellers. When your assistant manager, JULIO RANGEL walked by, I asked him if he could open up another teller. He said he already did and what else did I want him to do??? I was quite taken by his attitude and said but that's the business teller not the consumer. He responded with an attitude and said look they can help you too just wait. I told him I did not appreciate his tone and this is no way to treat a customer who has a choice bank elsewhere. He said withdraw your money then! I asked him where the manager was. He said I have my card here if I want to file a complaint. I have been a platinum member for 23 years and I have never been treated this poorly. I did exactly what he suggested. I'm in the process of closing multiple accounts: savings, checkings, credit cards, merrill edge, mortgage, and business. I will soon be a former member. Is this how you treat a customer who simply requests another teller to be opened? Was it because I am of Asian descent? WHo knows? I withdrew my checking account immediately and went on to open an account with Chase as suggested. They treated me with open arms.

::Bank of America closed their main office on Park Street leaving only this small branch office to serve the entire city of Alameda, population 80,000. At any given time there are never more than one or two tellers on duty, so the lines are always, always long and slow. You can never call on the phone; instead you always get the same massage on the automated messaging system telling you everyone is busy and then hanging up on you. I don't blame the people who work at the bank. I blame BoA for cutting costs to the point of absurdity.

::I second the emotions of many here: too many managers standing around instead of getting behind the glass wall and attending to the customers. Long line going in for only one teller for about 15 minutes. Second teller opens, but the line gets even longer. Poor management of resources. Despite all that, the lady attending me, finally, was super nice and efficient. Kudos to her!
