The hrs are from 2-4pm for grooming of your bird. Well the lady that does it was 1hr and 15min late. And then she didn't do a good job I have to have it done again. They are at 20th and Wadsworth. I live at 88th and Pecos. It was over 95" and my truck had no AC I am 71 the heat was high and I was so scared my bird would die I needed to spray him down with water to keep him alive. Their birds are not healthy looking or being taken care of. My advice is not to go there or buy any of their birds. First time I went she wasn't there The second time she was 1hr and 15 min late. Run the business or sell it. That lady Tasha who owned it now should have that business taken from her. Me and my daughter brought so many birds, toys, food from owner before Tasha now its very little food toys cages and birds. I live way out, from store you go there for bird grooming which is only 2pm-4pm then you never know if she shows up. And if by chance she shows it might be 1hr and half late or not at all. Her hands are dirty and they do it right at the register. You never know what your bird might catch. If you love your birds DON'T BRING YOUR BIRD THERE MINE IS JUST ABOUT DEAD BECAUSE SHE DON, T KNOW HOW TO GROOM OR WASH HER HANDS BUYER BEWARE.

Good quality local food. Great selection of birds. I go back for my birds food, it's a lot further than pet smart or others but quality is clearly better.

I sought out this shop as a potential first time bird owner. I came in to look at green cheek conures, maybe meet some, talk about if one would be right for me. But when I got in, the first thing I noticed is that all they have are store bought cages, the kind you might get in a pet bird starter kit, just randomly sitting in an otherwise empty strip mall unit, most of them empty. If they had any supplies or toys in stock, I didn’t notice them. And there was a badly plucked macaw sitting on top of one. Ok, I thought, maybe stock is low, and having professional looking cage-displays like a big-box pet store doesn’t make it a good shop. And maybe the macaw is a recent rescue, or has some long standing issues... Then someone emerged from the back. I thought, perhaps friendly service and great information would make up for the sloppy, empty appearance! ...nope. The man sped past me in a huff, clearly irritated with his cleaning chores. I was the only person in the shop. He gave me a quick “hi” and walked past and started cleaning one of the cages. I followed. “Do you have any green cheek conures?” I asked. “Nope, sold ‘em all before Christmas, don’t know when we’ll have more, breeders are sitting on some eggs, but other than that I don’t know anything”, he said, without even shifting his attention from his task. I left. In conclusion, what I found at World of Birds was a disgruntled man who doesn’t care for his job, his customers, a sale, or a chance to educate a potential parrot owner. I know appearance isn’t everything, but in this case, the appearance communicates that the owners don’t care. Well, I don’t care either, I don’t care to return.

Brought my sun conure in to get his wings and nails trimmed. The owner was thorough, pleasant and knowledgeable. She did a great job with my bird and the charge was very reasonable! She offered great advice on food and caging, her store is always clean, the birds well cared for and happy! I'll certainly be back!!

Super happy with this store. The owner is super friendly and knowledgeable. She has helped me more than she had to to find the right fit for adding a new finch to the 3 I already had. All four finches were bought here. All were healthy and happy as are all the birds here. She was as helpful with my purchase of $25 finches as with the $160 ones. This is the third store I checked out initially and is now the only one I go to.
