::The best pet store I've ever been to. We've been loyal customers for over a year, and the store/staff do an excellent job. We've had the opportunity to try out new food for our doggo, and they even offered a refund when he didn't like it. I highly recommend this store for selection, knowledgable staff, and customer service.

::MAKE NOTE----TERRIBLE customer service/owner refund policy. I was in the area and saw this shop had great reviews. I love supporting a local business. So I stopped in to pick up some things for my puppy (she is only 17lbs/6mo old). I purchased the attached item, which my puppy had no problem tearing the top apart in 2days. I only bought this full price because it said chew guard and ultra resistant. I realize the store didn't make the item, however you would think when I went in only one week later to ask for a refund/exchange, the girl at the counter offered a 20% discount on another item! Seriously??? Then she text the owner, who stated they do not honor any returns/refunds/exchanges on this item, and that she could provide me with the company info. I was further told they only honor refunds on the specific brand in the store that was by Colorado makers. So, what you are telling me is you choose to carry products in your store that you know are terrible quality? And then when they cant even withstand the chewing of a small puppy for 2 days, you won't offer a refund or replacement??? I have to spend my time contacting the company??? Ridiculous, and in my opinion, HORRIBLE business. Especially when you rely on local customers to support you! I would have been better off paying cheaper prices at the chain stores instead of actually paying the amount I did trying to help out a local business----and in the end got nothing in return when there was an issue.

I am really happy I found Republic of Paws during my trip to Denver, and I wish I could find more Republic of Paws stores and more people like Hector in California! ::We have been shopping at Republic of Paws since we moved to Denver in 2014. They are all so friendly and helpful but where they really shine is in their knowledge of the different foods they carry. They helped us find the perfect diets for our two older dogs and our ancient cat who had a very delicate diet due to his failing kidneys and dwindling interest in food. While these pets have since passed, we have a new canine on our horizon and we look forward to working with the staff to find the best diet and the cutest accessories, of course!

::I love this place. Aside from being a really cute boutique with a great selection, the staff, manager, and owners are phenomenal. They are extremely knowledgeable and have shared an incredible amount of valuable information that has improved my dog's health and other people's dogs' health as well (I send lots of people there). They care deeply about dogs, and it shows. And they really value their regulars. It's so nice having them know us so well. I can't recommend them highly enough.
