It seems to be an older hotel. The location is really good. Not necessarily right by anything but everything is very accessible from this location. The best part about this hotel was the service. Everyone was very kind and helpful.

Location, location, location. Right next to public transportation and just over a mile from many popular attractions. The room needs a renovation, but it was clean. Check-in can take awhile. Friendly staff. Take earplugs. Some rooms are next to a freeway. I would stay here again.

For the price and the position in Downtown Portland, is really good place for stay. Good staff, always ready to help for anything, good breakfast(much better that other pricy hotel), and walking distance to Downtown. In the heart of Portland University, they have good gym and a swimming pool (open in the summer time). I wanna remark that for the price, is the best deal in town!!!

Pretty good for the price! It was close to transit, walkable to the city center and felt pretty safe at night. We took two different transit lines and both were a quick walk from the hotel. Really loved the breakfast, huge selection and a waffle maker. I'd been to a few hotels in the same price range as of late and this one was the best. Only downside was it was pretty noisy. Our room was near the elevator so we kept getting people chatting at night while waiting for it. Felt like they were just outside our window.

Clearly an older hotel, so don't expect brand new facilities; however, it's all very clean and the staff are very helpful and polite! The room has a mini fridge and microwave, PLUS it's within walking distance of the waterfront and it's just gorgeous. The train pulls up literally right in front of the hotel, so it's easy to jump on and off (the train comes every 15 minutes. seriously so convenient.) Stayed here because I was attending a conference at the Marriott five minutes away but didn't want to pay more than $100/night. This is a lovely alternative!
