  Location! Right across the street from the Alamo and information center. Walking distance to various river walk tourist spots. The staff are extremely friendly. Breakfast is free and fresh with different selections. The room is nicely maintained and clean. Love the spacious bathroom.

  Perfect location in Downtown San Antonio. The hotel is right across from The Alamo. Several attractions are a 5 minute walk, like the Riverwalk, restaurants, shopping, attractions, tours, and city transit bus rides. The breakfast is decent, the staff is friendly, the hotel is clean and beautiful, and the rooms are the perfect size. There's even an outdoor pool, perfect for a splash or for sitting poolside. I was glad I chose this location.

  Over the years we have several clients stay at The Crockett Hotel and we have always been very glad to arrange the stay! Recently, touring comedian Brandon Davidson stayed here while out on tour. The rooms are very nice, and the property is luxurious with an incredible staff. He had a great breakfast in the morning to help get your day going as well.   Such a great 3 star hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms. Amazing location.. right across the street from the Alamo and blocks from everything else. So easy to find when you get turned Aaron's because all you have to do is remember how to get to the Alamo not just a name of a street. We did valet for 25.00.. the area we found 20 a day but no in and out.. so for convenience and the ability to come and go if needed we paid the 25. I really didn't want to leave.

  I always enjoy my stay here at the Crockett Hotel. I come twice a year since 2010 for music conferences in San Antonio. I've tried other places, but keep coming back to the Crockett. It's a convenient distance away from the Convention Center, not more than a 10 minute walk. It's a very historic building, which is neat. Really nice brickwork. And the rooms are clean. The trade-off is that everything is a little smaller (tighter) than you might be used to elsewhere. Bedrooms, bathrooms, elevators... All on the small side. Also, I've never had a room with a fridge. And parking is kind of pricey at $25/night if you use the hotel valet. PRO TIP: Go down the street to one of those public overnight lots, they're about $10/night. Save a little bit of money if you're here for a while. One of the big benefits is that they serve breakfast! That's a big plus in my book. All told, 4-star hotel and experience. Solid place to stay.
