As a big box store, this is merely an average store. It’s always swamped, but has a huge selection and is super convenient to get to this location from the metro. So why five stars? This has to be one of the best people watching spots in the district, along with the 14th st drag right in front of the building. Every walk of life is represented at this place. It is amazing to watch if you can forget the 24-pack of toilet paper for a minute. Both a vibrant town square and a milquetoast store rolled into one. Send an anthropologist in here to chronicle our civilization for posterity.

One of the most dismal, disoganized Target stores in the nation. Workers walking around with scowls in their faces, no customer service assistance, and a great deal of personal chatter about management, lack of breaks, and being "sick of" other employees. Store is filthy with clothes all over the floor, shelves dusty, outdated food, and mishelved items. Customer service associate was so rude that I asked for store manager, who never showed. Waited 15 minutes. Called back to store to complain and on hold another 18 minutes. AVOID THIS TARGET STORE LIKE THE PLAGUE -- THEY ARE AN EMBARRASSMENT TO THE CHAIN!

Nice clean store, finding things was easy but as a new mother they don't carry a variety of baby products so I had to settle for what they had (some of which don't have the best reviews). But the staff was helpful. It's a good store.

I just love coming here because I can buy groceries, if I am hungry I can buy pizza Hut, if I want a hot tea / chocolate from Starbucks I can have it all in one place. Plus Columbia Heights metro station is a few steps away. Bus stop is across the street

As far as Target goes, reasonably small with a proportionally sized inventory to match. Don't get me wrong, it isn't a bad store - just urban and smaller. Parking is underground, and not free. There are large elevators so you can wheel your shopping cart to your trunk. Occupies most of second and third floors of a mall. Not bad - also nothing to get excited for.
