There were four lamps in the two room suite we got: two were not close enough to an outlet to be plugged in so the cords were just left behind their tables, one was plugged in but had no bulb, and the one that worked was plugged in by wrapping around the doorway into the other room to plug in on its wall, a tripping hazard when loose. There were no outlets by the bed end tables and none that weren't used anywhere else in the room except behind the TV. Luckily a 6 plug adapter was there so we slid the dresser forward to plug in our phones at night across from the bed. Before seeing the rest of the problems with the room we went to dinner and I asked the front desk for an extension cord and some bulbs. The staff was nice but couldn't help since maintenance was not there or on call and they had no access to any supplies to help. The shower head in the main room looked very mineral crusted and the bath faucet would not stop dripping. Both bathrooms had poorly retrofitted lights that were delayed and had mismatched switches. The bathroom fans were very noisy and need to be serviced. The bed in both rooms was totally worn out and you sag down anywhere you sit or lay. The bedding was subpar and was starting to show a lot of wear from repeated washing. The tag on one comforter was melted from a dryer and had turned into an odd hard plastic lump. There were multiple dried food stains by the mini-fridge that needed to be scraped up instead of just swept, so I cleaned them. The floor in the second room had crazy gouges by the bed and should have been replaced. Some painting was recently done but though the color was matched well the gloss level was not, making for a very odd look to the room with every patch and fix standing out very obviously. When it was painted regular packing tape was used to mask off the room and much was still left stuck to the walls because it was clear and harder to see. The TV had no remote until we found it later that night far under the bed, but the remote was only paired to do volume somehow and would not turn off the TV or change channels. The only table was covered on the sides and edges by caked on dirt and greasiness from something other than cleaning materials. It was sticky to the touch. The door handle was hard to use unless you pulled the door in hard to release the pressure on the deadbolt.

The hotel has decent rooms. They are clean and great for sleeping. The rooms are kind of small, and the sliding barn door with glass in it was an odd choice for a bathroom door. Parts of the room look updated, and others do not. The hotel is within walking distance to Knotts Berry Farm, which saved me money on parking. The employees were all wonderful and helpful. They had a free breakfast. However, it is carb based with muffins, bread, etc. it isn't much to write about. I asked for the maid not to come in the room specifically, but I came back to the hotel to find she came into the room.

Arrived at the Buena Park location after a long day at the theme park. Immediately noticed that all of the lights in our room had been plugged as well as the AC Unit. 30 years of hotel stays and have never seen this before, but sure will allow it. Next up, the unclean toilet seat. Nope 1/10 Called the front desk and was immediately met with concern about how to handle a dirty toilet. Was told that โ€œsomeoneโ€ would show up to the room. Someone indeed showed up, and was rather unsure about how to tackle a dirty toilet. As this individual was seemingly looking for a Clorox wipe, I see one, two, three bugs on the ceiling. At this point I decided to pack up my gear and leave the premise. I asked the front desk staff to please cancel our reservation as I will not be paying over $200 for an uncleaned room with no AC. Wonโ€™t be staying here again, easy call. Recommendations to management: clean rooms before guests arrive. Also considering hiring staff to appropriately have all rooms cleaned and at least presentable.

Had a wonderful 3 night stay. I always say you can't trust reviews because everytime someone has a bad experience they will leave a bad review but people who have good experiences don't bother reviewing so I figured I would. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. I personally love the vintage Latin architecture. Didn't really encounter any of the other complaints. Ac will freeze you out. Towels and bedding where fresh and the pool was great. Check in time at 4 pm is kinda rough but I can't really blame them for logistics. Plus the location is ideal. Was able to walk to almost everything on our agenda.

I was very pleased and happy with my stay at the Quality Inn & Suites. I had to get last minute hotel reservations because I flew in last night and my original plans had to be changed. Luckily the staff was great, understanding and very helpful. The bed was nice too so I other a good rest after a long plane ride!
