Room had no heat. Sofa bed was really nasty. Blinds to front door were broken. Mildew smell throughout the room. I had to connect the TV. The smoke detector had a plastic bag covering it. A $300 deposit was taken which I have yet to receive back after 10 days. Very disappointed

First the check in was slow. Then their deposit was ridiculous. Now I am in the room and the generator is running. They gave us a room with people digging in the trash behind the room. The front desk weirdo when I voiced my concerns about the safety of my vehicles and wanting a room change for a couple hours, they said we don’t do that. I warned him this is unacceptable and not business like. This guy is totally unprofessional. They have multiple rooms available and yet the won’t switch rooms. This guy needs to lose his job. They think they can disrespect their guests since the hotel is under new ownership/ renovations. I am disgusted in the lack of concern for their guests and people.

The place seams cute and a good price. The staff was very helpful. My only problem was that we booked through a 3rd party site, and the information wasn’t transmitted properly so we weren’t assigned the correct size room. I really wanted to get angry with someone since we didn’t have enough places to sleep, but everyone involved was so kind and accommodating. The front desk tried to find a better room but they were already booked. I was able to get the booking reversed with the 3rd party, and make a new booking. I wish we could have stayed the night at this cute hotel.

Myself and my family were extremely unhappy with our stay here. There was hair in supposedly clean towels, worn out mattresses, no blankets or sheets for the pull out bed. We went and asked for a blanket and sheet, they were out! The furniture and flooring was bubbled, my guess was water damage. The furniture drawers wouldn't shut, bathroom door track was badly worn and hard to open or close, shower was moldy and dirty. The wooden door blinds were broken, bathroom sink had a busted faucet, AC made the room smell really musty and moldy. The front desk people were nice but were clearly overwhelmed and understaffed. They moved us into a new room. This room was better but had issues too. Intially there was a light flickering. The maintenance guy asked if we could take the bulbs from our old room and change it (he was busy). So I dropped two dirty fixtures and swapped bulbs. The fixtures were difficult to get back up properly. The AC created the same moldy/ musty smell. We went to the beach and got back later to the AC that wasn't working at all. It's late and 80° in our room and we have tired kids. They offered to change us rooms again but our 7yr old was already asleep, so they gave us a fan. We talked to the owner in the morning. The way she handled us made it clear why the hotel has so many problems. She didn't really acknowledge the issue's and offered us 20.00 plus canceling our last night there. The vibe was that none of the problems would be taken care of or were a concern. We moved to a Hilton for the same price that was clean and in good shape.

This hotel was easy to find out on Beach blvd and is conveniently located near other great hot spots, and parking is plentiful is safe all around the building. I'm a night owl, and going out/returning to the hotel was easy, safe and did not come with any disturbances or strangers hanging around the lots. Checking in was fast and easy, and even though some elevators were down at the time I was there, getting around the hotel was easy and the swimming pool and gym were easy to locate and access. Our room was amazing for the price we paid! Air conditioning was working perfectly and really cooled the entire room. Bed was not too firm and was just to our liking. Bathroom was decent and perfect sized and shower/tub was also decent. I did not find anything wrong with our room or our stay, in general, and I would definitely consider this hotel again for future trips!
