  The hotel looked as though it was going through a remodel. The bed was comfy but creaked. Everything was fine with the room but we had a moth or 2 in there once we arrived, granted you're outside once you open the hotel door. There was no "do not disturb" sign. And the room number on the outside of the door was a taped piece of cardboard with our number on it. Again, could be from a remodel? Was also surprised to only get 1 room key. Other than that, it was fine. I'd stay again.

  Pillowcases and bed sheets had stains. The bathroom was dirty with hair in the tub, and on the walls. The beds had pink plastic hanging out from the box springs. The service from the front desk was very minimal. I got offered no water or snacks, which as a best western platinum member you should also receive. The man handed me my room key and said nothing. We had to look around everywhere in the rain to find our room. The room numbers are not even labeled. We ended up locating our room after seeing some cardboard numbers a few doors down and then counting doors. This place was pretty bad.

  This place should be shut down. The rooms were not clean. It was clear that no one had stayed there for a long time, and no one went to check our rooms before we got there. We found cockroaches in the bathtub. There was a skunk clearly living near the building. It would just wander around the parking lot sometimes. The breakfast was ridiculous. They put as little food out as possible because they know no one will be coming. Also, there are no microwaves or fridges in the rooms despite what the pictures show.

  Ok, in fairness they are still renovating. Our issue was with the bed being really soft and cupped in the middle so we felt like we were sleeping in a bowl. The renovations are very nice and this place has promise. We were missing a chair, microwave and refrigerator from our room. We only lowered our rating for the missing amenities the "Resort Fee" and the bed. Yes there is a resort fee and this place is in no way a resort!

  This place is a work in progress. I have hopes that it will be good someday, but it isn't good now. They are undergoing extensive renovations. They list breakfast as an amenity, but the room isn't open, so no breakfast. We had a desk but no chair. There were coffee packages but no coffee maker. There were 2 bath towels and one hand towel. No refrigerator, no microwave, no folder with information about the hotel. There were also no available parking spaces when we pulled in, so my husband parked around the corner. The new flooring and bedding is pretty, but one of the mattresses and both box springs still needed to be replaced. Fortunately for us, we were only spending 10 hours there, but there's really no excuse not to have these basic items in the room. I did see one small roach in the room. Hopefully, these will be eradicated as the renovations are completed. The location was very convenient for us as we were dropping my son off at Knott's Berry Farm in the morning, but the price should be discounted for the lack of amenities.
