  The hotel doesn't smell good. It smelled as cat pee everywhere, even in the room, I think that's a problem with the carpet. The 1st day the bed was done but the other consecutive days none came to clean. I used the same towels during several days. There was so much dust in the room that I had an allergic attack the first night because of that. I payed the hotel with a card and the amount wasn't the same as in the reservation. The bathroom was renovated.

  If you just need a place to sleep and shower it's fine. Clean, and Managment is awesome.

  Got accused of having more than two people in my room when someone just helped us carry out bags inside and left. Only good for sleeping and showering but super prime location and reasonably priced compared to other places nearby. Would stay there again, definitely wouldn't bring a guest over though.

  I was looking for somewhere cheaper than a hotel but more private than just a hostel, and this fit that! It's run by an old couple who are not always at the desk. Everything is kinda grungy, there's bedbugs, bathrooms are separate from bedrooms, but it's the best you can get in San Diego for 50/night. Also close to lots of restaurants in the Gaslamp Quarter, though I found when visiting that most of those catered towards a much wealthier crowd

  Room was tidy and mostly clean. Restrooms could have been serviced more regularly, especially considering that they are a multi-use facility at the end of the hallways. Conveniently located in Gaslamp for an inexpensive price, but even at the price paid could have put a little more care into the shower and restroom.
