::If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... We found the room to be clean and spacious. We especially enjoyed being able to open the sliding door on Juliette balcony to enjoy fresh air. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They even messaged us during our stay to see if there was anything we needed. The location is super convenient to the conference center, restaurants and Petco Center. I would stay here again. Pricing was less than other major hotels nearby. The vibe if this Hilton reminded me of a boutique hotel.

::This is a nice hotel right next to the Petco park in the Gaslamp district its so close to all the night life and right down the street from the Midway aircraft carrier museum an. I generally stay at the Holiday Inn but the company was paying and they always stay at the Hilton. Personally I think the Holiday Inn hotels are for the most part as nice as the Hilton chain. My company asked me to come down a day early to meet with a customer but the Hilton was booked solid so I went 10 minutes away and stayed at the Holiday Inn for the night in a nice King bed. The room was just as good as the Hilton, $60 bucks cheaper, and the parking was free. The Hilton charged $45.00 a day for valet with no other on site option. FYI at $45 a day it cuts into the valets tips. I returned to the Hilton the next day checked in and I got a room with two twin beds no king rooms available... well, for me, my co worker who checked in next in line behind me got a better room than I did. Don't get me wrong this place is very nice and staff was helpful and friendly the stay and our convention was great. i do like the lay out of this place and its central location to many fun things to do and great places to eat.

::Een hotel volgens Hilton standaarden. Niet oud, gewoon netjes. Ruime kamer (522) met een niet al te grote badkamer. Het hotel ligt in het Gaslamp District vlakbij de zee. Het Gaslamp District is een historisch gebied met vele oude statige gebouwen. We hadden een kamer met uitzicht gereserveerd. Dit uitzicht hadden we op het convention center van San Diego en een gedeelte van het Gaslamp district. Helaas niet rechtstreeks op zee. Het hotel ligt pal naast een trein en tram rails. Met enige regelmaat hoor je de bellen van de trein/tram rinkelen. Dit is overigens geen storend geluid. De kamer heeft een mooi groot kingsize bed met grote TV en een koffiemachine. De wifi is gratis en voor het water voor de koffiemachine moet je ook apart betalen. Bij aankomst kregen we echter nog twee flesjes water mee die we konden gebruiken. Waarvoor je ook moet betalen is het parkeren. Nu is dit meestal we zo bij de hotels in de hogere prijsklasse. Omdat zelf parkeren niet mogelijk was ben je aangewezen op valet parking. Dit bedraagt echter $49 per nacht. Persoonlijk vind ik dit echt overprised, ook omdat je geen alternatief hebt. Ik zou het hotel ook qua ligging zeker aanbevelen. Wellicht is het zoeken van een alternatieve parkeerplek nog een overweging want het valet parkeren kan een groot gat in de begroting slaan.

::A good stay. Everyone was polite and helpful. Corner Room was a very good size. Air conditioning was a little poor taking all day to cool the baking room to a cool temperature. Nice to have a pool to relax in. Easy to get to the transit (2 minute walk to the station) Can be a little noisy at night when the freight trains roll by!
