::Went here for a night with friends. What a unique hotel. I liked all of the design elements. The beds were very nice and the suite we were in was very peaceful and well laid out. Even though you have to valet, it was super convenient and I really liked being able to text for the car and be notified when it was ready.

::this review is for management of the Shake Bar and Lounge on 701A in San Diego. Here's the timeline: arrived 630 for an 8PM Jazz concert on 4/28 were told to find a table (table #2) waited until 7PM until someone cleaned the table 715PM ordered quick sandwiches and beers two orders arrived 730PM, two were MIA, still no silverware or drinks two sandwiches wrapped to go at 745PM??? checked out 755PM hungry, thirsty but not willing to miss the concert. Note to management: it's Saturday evening and you've got a captive audience. Why not plan for volume on such nights rather than frustrate your clientele? It's not about the individual servers, rather lack of management/process on the floor.

::Absolutely amazing hotel experience. A small fridge, sink, and silverware inside the room. There was Starbucks coffee and a coffee maker in our room each morning. Water bottles and chocolates replaced every day. Decent gym downstairs. Location was very convenient. 15 -20 minute walk to the San Diego Convention center. Great food within walking distance in all directions. A small market to get food to stock your fridge within walking distance. Very friendly staff.

::We used our interval international points for this room. We're really disappointed that they had planned to close the pool during our visit. I wasn't informed until it was too late to reschedule our trip even though they knew ahead of time that this was happening. The room was pretty small for the 4 of us. 2 little ones. The staff was really amazing in all of the departments. The kids center people really made us feel welcome and had fun stuff for us to do with the kids. The gals in the restaurant were so nice and really bent over backwards to help make some good coffee like we were used to! We had a great experience just using uber instead of renting and really enjoyed walking to lots of places nearby. Great location! Just needed a pool, just than that no complaints!

::Super friendly staff and very accommodating. Fresh and renovated rooms. Huge lounge area offering breakfast, lunch and dinner from 6:30 until 11 pm. World class chef and the girls working on the floor super nice. Overall very pleased with my stay and will definitely be back!!
