  Very attentive vet. Even called the next morning to make sure my dog was doing well with the medication. Treated my dog like a living creature, not just a paycheck. I will definitely be making this vet my primary vet!

  I was really nervous bringing my pug in to have his teeth cleaned and several teeth extracted as I've heard horror stories about them going under anesthesia. But the staff was more than understanding and made sure I had frequent updates as to how he was doing. They followed up to make sure he was doing well the next day when I brought him home. I've taken him to a few vets and I've never felt so comfortable as I did at Northfield. I highly recommend them.

  I had an awesome experience at Northfield and I feel like I got some important answers about my cat's condition and treatment. The vet clearly works very hard to keep up on research and treatment options. I'm impressed and happy that we found such a great place.

  The staff is the best! Dr. Shelly is great. I emailed several vets about the breed and common problems. Dr. Shelly is familiar with the breed. Had several visits. Last year when my dog got real sick. Dr. Shelly and her team went above and beyond to help him. On her day off, she called and said to get my dog in for a transfusion or he could die. I found out later that she still came into the office on her day off to check on my dog. He’s all better now. She has be great to work with. I would recommend her office for sure

  Wow! I had a great experience taking my 6 year old cat, Chester, to see Dr. Shelly. She took the time to get to know me and Chester and really made sure to explain what she was going to do to Chester before she actually did it. This help put me at ease and I am sure Chester too. We just got an 8 week old Corgi puppy and will be bringing him to her in the future. It is a small practice but you and your pet are given ample time and attention. If you are in the area, I highly recommend Northfield Veterinary Hospital!
