Have received decent service in the past, however, they have a strong tendency to shame you for deferred care to geriatric pets. As if the natural aging process should have been controlled. Worse is when we brought our recently deceased cat in after calling them make arrangements they showed zero empathy, and made us wait for 10 minutes while the receptionist talked on the phone without making any eye contact. After sitting there with our deceased cat in the middle of PetsMart, we finally commented on the situation. They eventually were apologetic and offered a room for some privacy in this emotional time, but at that point the gravity of the unprofessionalism was too heavy to change our minds on the services rendered. It's really unfortunate. I think many of them care about the animals, but they fail to act in a way that acknowledges that we as pet caretakers do too.

The receptionist on Saturday 11/11/2017 was a bit off with her customer service skills but the Vet tech and Vet was fabulous. I have been with Banfield off and on since 2001 and never had an issue with them.

First, we have been Banfield members nearly 9 years. i would like to say the Dr.s and vet techs have always been fantastic to our pups. We've always felt their health has been put first. Second, after we lost our 12 year old dog last month, we called to cancel her wellness plan. We were told we first needed to pay the "discounts" we were given at her last visit because she died in contract year of her wellness plan. Her bills were paid in full. The charges were the "discounts" you are given for treatment for being a wellness member. Apparently we were on auto renew (make sure youre not on that, esp if your dog is elderly). Our plan renewed in March. Our dogs treatment was in May, paid in full. And she died in July. We were told we needed to backpay the "discounts" or pay out the rest of her contract year to cancel her plan. Wow. Talk about a knife in the stomach. I even contacted corporate, to explain the situation and make sure these policies were not consistant with all members of the wellness plan. Corporate sent me back a very nice email stating my concerns were important and they value their customers and want to provide great service and care and a local hospital leadersip would review my concern and contact me back. It has been over a month and nothing, so i am providing awareness. Be cautious about servicing an elderly dog here during their contracted year. You may end up back-paying hundreds of dollars for "discounts." Best of luck to others and their furbabies.

So I was getting ready for an emergency move in California, and my do has severe anxiety. I called banefield and they said bring him in with his records of anxiety. I brought him on with all his paperwork, and after they checked him out they recommended an anxiety plan for my trip. They supplied him with exactly what he needed to make the trip atleast bearable for me without the spitting and him shaking the whole way. I appreciate the staff and service I received here as well as they did not discriminate for having a supposed to be aggressive dog breed. Thanks you guys
