I wasn't sure what to expect when coming here, but I was very pleased. The decor looks like something out of an Ann Rice novel, but the drink options and service is more like a true dive bar. This is truly a fun bar stop if you are new to Houston and wanting something unique but not over priced in downtown.

I went after a concert at house of blues. We were with another adult couple and my 18 daughter and her boyfriend. The kids were our DD. They got kicked out of the bar even though they were with us and not drinking....

Went last night, group of 10 of us. All well dressed, mostly couples, all over 40. The one bi-racial guy in the group was asked for an ID, also the only one of us with grey hair. His ID had just expired, he was rudely asked to wait outside by the bartender since the rest of us had already ordered drink. I wouldn’t drink here again, even if I was a homeless alcoholic.

Love the whiskey selection and the cheers style of folks in there. Everyone knows your name except yours, and that doesn’t matter at all! I’m here to drink!

I wish I could give this place zero stars. Was out yesterday, 1/28/17, to celebrate my aunt's birthday. When we finished eating at Batanga we decided to check out Warren's. Biggest mistake. I have never in my life experienced the level of rudeness that this bartender was on. I wish I asked her name, but she is a white lady with dark hair. She made us feel so uncomfortable. Didn't help that we were the only people of color in the whole bar. She was being normal to everyone else but us. We finally were able to leave after our friend's one drink that she made him buy because he went to the bathroom (I understand policy but she was incredibly mean about it). We went down the street to another bar and made a comment to them about Warren's and they knew exactly what we were talking about. We will never come here again and it's going to take everything in me not to stop buy and tell her something.
