::The inside of this post office smells like urine - homeless people often sleep in it at night due to chronic homelessness in the nation, sadly. All this during COVID pandemic, needless to say getting this phone number from the George Mason branch took three days. Utilizing the online option was tulmutuous as they forwarded us to a 1800 number who then transferred us, who then transferred us, who then transferred us giving us wrong telephone numbers - please see photo - I will keep trying and keep you posted as well! To think we have no housing options to keep warm other than the local post office in which they sleep and release themselves throughout the night.

::James, our postman, left me a note with his personal number for me to contact him anytime because I was having issues getting my mail forwarded to my new place (previously an office building now converted into apartment units- never switched from a business to a residence). He helped me come up with a solution and just went above and beyond, which was incredibly refreshing (especially in this area) as I was very frustrated with the thought of soon losing access to my mail. Thank you again, James!

::Emailed twice. No reply. Changed my address in person in a local post office and Memorial, the P.O. that sorts our mail continues to route it incorrectly, including routing it back a third time when the old P.O. has rerouted it according to my change of address instructions. I had a package sent directly to my address and no one can find it. I have mail from several government agencies I'm awaiting. When I received a letter today from a state government, it informed me my benefits were about the expire and I must contact them by tomorrow. Well tomorrow is Good Friday and they are closed so there is no way for me to FIX this. Worst P.O. I've ever dealt with. Oh, and I've had three packages I mailed ithat never reached their destinations.

::USPS told a maniac that they delivered her package at my house. The package had already been returned. This maniac showed up at my house and harassed me for 3 hours!!! They have no right to accuse me of having something I returned. They have no right to give out my address to someone else. My life was endangered because of a stupid package that I returned!!! This is a complete breach of my privacy. A business as big as USPS should know better than to go out and accuse people of having something that they returned. Personal information should NEVER EVER be given to another person without prior consent. What they did is completely unacceptable, it is bad company practice and should not be tolerated.
