Very friendly staff when we visited for brunch with my 92-year old grandmother. She was delighted by the food choices, and everybody in our party found something they liked. Great brunch menu with a nice looking Bloody Mary bar. When you're not there for lunch, they've got a great beer selection and good Gastropub-style food.

We have been wanting to eat brunch here for months..... but every time we get a chance The Yard is Closed!! It was highly recommended by several friends. With one exception... Strongly advised not to go here on a weekend due to a long wait for a table. The Yard is closed on Mondays which is my weekly day off.. Oh well we will continue to support local diners that want our business....obviously this place can care less.

I have been to this location many times and I am always impressed The Yard! The food is always delicious, the drinks are always cold, and the staff is always extremely friendly. I appreciate how hard the staff works to ensure a wonderful experience for their customers. They make me feel like a VIP every time I walk through the door. This is one location I often take out-of-town guests because I feel it's one of the best restaurants! I'm looking forward to many more visits!

Might give this place another shot. The poutine was covered it what seemed to be beef flavored grease... wouldn't necessarily call it gravy. The sandwich I had tasted heavily of fake margarine and wasn't very appetizing. The thick tomato soup served with the sandwich was good, but cold. And the chips, while I knew were dark russets, looked and tasted a bit burnt. Definitely needed some seasoning on the chips... just bland and tasted of fryer grease. Service was friendly but pitifully slow. Watched other servers do a far superior job to our own server.

Best grilled cheese in town. Tomato soup was also really yummy and paired perfectly! The local beer selection was awesome. My only wish is that it was a little less pricey! Otherwise, excellent service and food.
