So right down to the point. Steel Cactus does not serve great food. Every time I’ve had the food I was disappointed, for some reason the rice is never hot. It always comes out warm, on the verge of getting cold. The tacos have no flavor unless you get cilantro with it. The burritos are your best bet but even then, not that great. I would only recommend Steel Cactus to those who wish to drink on the weekend or happy hour because the drink deals can be good.

Wouldn't know if the food is good or not. We waited for 15 minutes and a server never came to our table, despite 2 hosts seating us and a server walking past our table mutiple times. There were only six other seated tables at the time so it's not like it was busy. There are enough other quality mexican restaurants in the immediate area that you can pass over this one.

I felt the food was a flamming turd of an attempt at Mexican cuisine. I can get a better tasting, more satisfying burrito at Taco Bell for cheaper and... it wouldn't make me sick by the time I was halfway home. The "salsa" on my burrito tasted like cheap canned pizza sauce (the sauce on little caesar's $5 pizza tastes better). Tortilla shell also tasted a bit stale. Service was friendly, but unnecessarily slow, waited near a half hour the check, then another 15 minutes for the server to bring my card back. If you like it, cool... good for you. I won't go back, so more bad food for you.

I really like the decor in this place. It's on the second floor up off the street and has a good vibe. There's a good beer selection and the food was pretty good as well. I'd like to go back when the deck is open, but overall I really enjoyed it.

Nice Mexican restaurant with decent food. I had the steak fajitas. Wish the tortillas were bigger, but if I had any complaints that would be the only one. The server was friendly, and the food came out quickly. The menu is pretty basic, but they do a good job. I'll most likely be back.
