  Carpet in our room was not very clean. Bar soap was so small that only one of us could use it to shower.

  You can tell this was a very nice hotel many years ago. It is under construction and will be for quite a while. The front desk personnel and management know it's run down and needs a lot of work, that's why the price is about $75 less than all the other hotels nearby. Everything is clean. It's just run down and needs a major renovation, which they are in the process of doing. I am sure when they are done a few years from now it will be very nice again. The breakfast was pretty good. Front desk staff friendly, and there's a Cheddars restaurant right next door.

  This location is currently being remodeled. However, the "COVID" service required us to remove the linens, place them in plastic bags, and leave them outside upon check-out. The breakfast bar needs updating. The oatmeal was excellent, but the scrambled eggs were obviously powdered and bacon/sausages could use some more cook time.

  VERY FRIENDLY STAFF, hence the 1star.. Hotel was DISGUSTING. Carpet had stains all over, the first floor had a horrible smell that I could not define. Hair all over the bathroom, toilet did not stop flushing. Room smelled like someone had been smoking in it.

  This hotel is badly in need of a deep cleaning. The room carpet was stained as was the carpet in the hallway. There was mold growing on the edges of the tub and on the shower curtain. The stair railing and door was dirty. Avoid this hotel and go somewhere else.
