  this gym is currently the worst fitness center in all of rockland county. the current leadership team is the most uncaring unresponsive and unfriendly group to ever be allowed to run a gym. the "general manger" is too busy pretending to be on the phone or hiding in the back to learn anyone's name, her once sterling customer service team has been replaced by a small pack of unfriendly goons that cant be bothered to answer simple questions without being visibly annoyed that you pulled them away from their conversations, and no one cleans anything which is unfair to the middle aged cleaning team that works hard to keep the titanic afloat. Since the closing of the Nanuet gym and the woeful exit of the Nyack gyms previous and without a doubt spectacular General manger, due to an obvious lack of support from her corporate leadership; this club has been on a free fall to the lowest depths imaginable, since September of 2017. as seen in the pictures I posted the women's room is a mold covered danger zone not fit for use, the cardio fitness equipment is covered in grime and dried sweat, which in an era of flesh eating bacteria is absolutely unacceptable. until this gym finds a new member focused management team and renews its long forgotten commitment to cleanness, run away from this place as fast as you can. Town Sports needs to take a long shame filled look at it self for allowing a once immaculate facility filled with caring staff to be run into the ground and have no one in their upper management notice. I personally would feel safer working out barefoot in a medical waste dumpster i only left 1 star because i was forced to

  Hidden fees. Their contracts amount to borderline theft. I signed a contract back in 2015. I paid a $100 fee up-front to "lock in my rate of $19.95 a month". They up'd my fee to $30-a-month and then $40-a-month regardless of the contract terminology. For $20 dollars a month the Gym was adequate. Small gym, cheap, very few classes, and it was relatively uncrowded... that was until they closed their Nanuet location and forced all those members to use the West Nyack location. At the end: small, crowded, and expensive (not worth $40 a month). It's just a poorly run business. Management doesn't know when they're doing and has decided that robbing people is more profitable than running a legitimate gym.

  It's a great gym with nice, decent people & a good affordable price

  We came just for laser tag, and it was a blast! The price was very reasonable, and our party of 6 adults had the course to ourselves. The arena was well-designed and made for a very fun game.

  They ripped me off. I signed up for a deal which took 10 dollars off their premium plan that I can use any gym anywhere. I changed credit cards and as a result I went in to notify them. I was told that I'm still paying the same old rate. When I notified them I signed a contract, the front desk refused to find the contract. I told them to research and look at the date I signed up to confirm that deal was going on and they would not do it. I was tricked into switching from my month to month to a 2 year contract on a lie. As a result, over 2 years I will lose 240 dollars. Did I mention I have been with them for 20 years or so?lies. The reason they get 3 stars is because their staff is very nice and it's not as busy as other centers so I always get to use the machines I need.
