  The power went out for the block, they brought out the best gumbo I’ve ever had (and I live in SE Texas). They were so accommodating even giving free cocktails to patrons. The staff is amazing and their chef is even better.

  Nice hotel. Got stuck there after a snow storm cancelled my flight out and they were able to get me a room early and help accommodate me when I needed it most. Rooms were clean and fairly up to date. Plug placement was much better than the other hotel in the area I used, great for charging all my gear.

  Was not advised there is mandatory valet parking which they charge you $34 per night. Had I known this I would have chosen a different hotel as this incresed my per night rate which determined my hotel choice. Also there are no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms which should be standard for the rate paid. Good location and comfortable beds. Friendly staff.

  Experience was great. Employees were exceedingly gracious. The only small problem was that we couldn't get the bath water hot enough. Overall, a nice time.

  I recently stayed at this property on a business trip and I cannot compliment the front desk, as well as the Concierge staff enough! Jovonne at the front desk was so gracious and accommodating and all the staff on the Concierge level were friendly and helpful and seemed to enjoy making our stay even more welcoming! I would especially like to thank Mark, Patrick and (my apologies) the Indonesian gentleman who treated us as if we were guests in their home. The offerings for breakfast and lunch in the Concierge room were excellent! The only slight downfall was housekeeping. The first few visits were above and beyond. After that, housekeeping went downhill. On one occasion, housekeeping really didn't do anything except make the bed. This is a fixable and trainable issue as, on the overall, service here was outstanding! It was not my first stay at this Marriott and I have found it to be consistent each and every time.
