  RATS GALORE! BUGS GALORE! In 2017 I had to stay at a motel in-between moving into apartments, I immediately left and got a refund. A rodent squeezed through light fixture above bed and landed on top of the bed which was SUPER itchy. With bright light on in bathroom, a plump Rat nonchalantly walked slowly right past me, even stopping sniffing taking it's sweet time while I was frozen in fear. I could hear them squeaking LOUDLY constantly, and I could see a whole family of rodents under the radiator which had a bowl of water under it. The owners had a red dot on lower forehead in-between their eyes where most people from India have, and they looked like and spoke like they were from India. Rats did NOT bother them and I've seen pictures of rat temples online located in the country of India, so perhaps this is why. I'm simply making this observation because it was beyond baffling as to why they did not care with their gigantic infestation of rats, as they also lived in motel on 1st floor near office. I am not sure why the city hasn't closed down this building, as it is Extremely unsafe for children especially and I seen families with children there sadly. The only precautions I seen taken were unopened rodent sticky paper behind dresser, that's it, serving no purpose as the customers would have to peel off sticky covering if they happen to look behind a dresser! Lastly, this place was wayyyyy over priced in 2017, at $250.00 a week, when other CLEAN motels go for $170.00- $200.00 a week. Do NOT go here please.

  The manager was an assdick when it was time for us to check out but, at least me and my guy spent some quality time together.

  Rooms need to be updated with stronger doors and better rooms. They take cash only, and the person up front rarely there.

  room 45 has a mirror on the celing and in front of the bed in that room thought that was pretty weird ...just needed a place for a quick nap after driven for hours ..deff added humor to our night we had never seen a room like that at all ... first time for every thing

  Although there aren't many luxurious amenities offered by Karavan, it makes an effort to meet all of the needs of the guest. They offer a fantastic continental breakfast with some of their greatest choices, and they have a restaurant on site that serves regional food.
