We love this gem of a restaurant. The appetizer salad platter is our favorite! The cheese pie is also really good and the savory pies as well. I usually like the beef stroganoff, but during our recent visits it was all mushrooms, only a few small beef chunks. The mushrooms overpowered everything in the dish, while still good, but more beef would be better. The vodka sorbet for dessert is delicious!

My husband and I are addicted to this restaurant. The portions are generous and everything is so flavorful! The Vegetarian Shashlik is my go-to, while my husband's favorite is Welcome to the Gulag. Service has always been friendly and attentive whenever we have been in.

Awesome food, service and ambiance. The only reason I took off a star was for getting meat in my borscht when I ordered vegetarian. The fried cheese and veggie chicken satsivi are incredible and so is the authentic Turkish coffee! Don't skip the pickles!

Great food! Authentic, as best as I can recollect from my travels through Russia. Points off for the slow service; however, additional points back on due to authenticity of my restaurant experiences traveling through Russia. :)

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. An abundance of options for every diet - and every one delicious! We started with the eggplant rolls and pumpkin dumplings and every flavor was unique. Service was prompt and responsive, our waitress was very patient in answering my dad's questions and keeping our water full. I had the vegetarian shashlik and my husband ate Welcome to the Gulag. Every bite was deliciously spiced and portions were generous enough that we'll get to continue to enjoy our meal tomorrow. Try the iced coffee and the sorbet!
