::Stayed here quite a few times. Always good service and a nice stay. Great housekeeping staff and thoroughly cleaned rooms. The hotel now uses mobile keys through iPhone which is nice if you have an iPhone. Definitely a more professional hotel, but necessarily family friendly. Nice hotel bar with unique drinks. Love the bourbon, citrus, cinnamon drink created by one of their bartenders.

::Disappointed. We booked our stay 6 months ago, but when we arrived they said they didn't have a pool, which was advertised at the time of booking. They gave the excuse, that because we booked the stay via a third party website that they could not reach us to inform us of the change, but upon seeing our reservation, we noticed that our phone number, and email address was there...so obviously they lied.The main hall was spectacular, but the reason I stay at any hotel, is the amenities, and comfort of the room, not the awe of the atrium. The rooms were average and the beds were too firm for our family's taste leading to a restless sleep for all. If we ever return to DC, we definitely won't be staying here. A shout-out to Raj at the Concierge Desk which offered the best customer service and advice that made our visit to DC more enjoyable.

::Incredible place. Amazing service. The elevator system is a bit confusing at first, but after you learn the system it is very convenient. They work in such a way that you never have to wait even a full minute for an elevator. The room was clean nice. Top floor has an amazing view of Capitol Hill.

::Excellent hotel all around! They have inside of the hotel a: -Starbucks -Bar/Restaurant -Fitness Center At the time of writing this review the pool is closed. You are walking distance to a number of great restaurants and local eateries and 15 minutes from DAR for concerts. The rooms and hallways we're all clean, spotless, and one of the first times I've not smelled a cigarette in ages. Our room offered a splendid side view of the Washington Monument. Overall great experience from the great staff at the JW.
