::Lovely place. Close to the white house. Good restaurants in walking distance. Didn't have time to check out the gym. To busy sightseeing. I was upgraded to the 12th floor. So I guess my room was special.

::Was my first stay. Actually, a nice hotel, good breakfast, friendly staff, cute bar and in a very good location. Public transport is within 3 minutes, White House in about 8 minutes walking distance. Unfortunately, I couldn't get more than just warm water for a shower, all over my stay over 5 nights. Besides, a good hotel for a stay in DC.

::Perfect location right in the middle of the city. Walking distance to everything. A 24 hour CVS right across the street and a Starbucks in the lobby. Rooms were a bit small, but comfortable. You'll most likely have a view of gravel or of the next building, so keep that in mind. Otherwise, a total delight and nice to not stay at a typical chain

::I always try to stay at this hotel when I'm in DC for work. It's in a great area near good restaurants and 2 minutes from a metro station. The rooms themselves aren't huge, but they are comfortable and the beds are very nice. The staff is super friendly and constantly asking how they can help you. As a matter of fact, the manager and staff went above and beyond this most recent stay. I dropped my wedding ring in the elevator and it rolled into the crack at the door and down the elevator shaft. The manager had his engineering office look not once, but twice for it and they found it for me. And for that, I'll always be grateful for the caring staff at The Hamilton Hotel. Thanks guys!

::The room was a fine size for the 2 of us, and the king sized bed was fantastic. We paid extra to have a park view, which we had, but the windows were so filthy that we couldn't really enjoy the view. The blackout curtains also had holes in them, so they didn't really do their blackout thing. The air vent was insanely dirty, too, which messed with our allergies a bit. Otherwise, the hotel was quiet and fine for our needs. We did have room service one day, which had a 21% "administrative" fee, on top of the $4 delivery charge, so that was the most expensive breakfast I've ever eaten and it wasn't even very good. Overall, the hotel was fine if you can get into it for less than $160 a night.
