::Stayed here with a friend. The facility is larger than you expect and has the service of a small hotel. the rooms are great, some may think on the smaller side, but was great for a weekend stay. so close to many things... white house, museums, the mall, restaurants convention center

::When we checked in we got upgraded to a bigger room with a balcony. Yes! Beautiful views. Park across the street. Bed was extremely comfortable and clean. Slept a good 10 hours. :-) It’s an old hotel so it has some quirks that I personally love. The walls were a little thin. We loved it though!

::WARNING: Avoid this hotel! It has hostile, inflexible policies. I had a family situation and was unable to complete my trip to DC. The hotel charged me $308.81 for my missed night. Unlike most modern hotels, Morrison-Clark doesn’t send any reminders about upcoming reservations. Miraculously, I did receive a notification of my missed check-in the next day. How convenient! When I explained the situation, the clerk said Morrison-Clark’s policy is to charge the full fee for missed nights. So sorry, Morrison-Clark, that I was in the middle of a family emergency and didn’t think to cancel my hotel reservation! Thanks for being understanding and accommodating. Keep my $308.81. It is the only money you will get from me. Thankfully, there are many hotel options in your region.

::This was my first trip to D.C. to get away for the weekend. Morrison-Clark is perfectly located so that you are able to visit all of the local attractions. Hotel staff was amazing. Rooms were beautiful, and restaurant inside the hotel had great food and service. Will definitely be back.
