  Excellent place to stay. Right in the heart of the Miracle Mile. Very nice rooms. Professional, friendly staff. Great food available for room service. Other great food options within walking distance.

  My wife, daughter and I stayed at Hyatt Centric Magnificent Mile and we had an unexpectedly good time. Normally, while traveling we don't get all gussied up and fancy so when we checked in and found out this was a very business feeling hotel, we were amazed by how thoughtfully and respectfully the staff treated us, despite the fact we didn't "look the part." If we make it back to Chicago, we will definitely check in here again. It was only a couple blocks from the Pier. Obviously the place was neat and clean as well.

  Location is great, but aside from excellent customer service, nothing about this place says "4* hotel" to me. I was charged an additional $30/night to "upgrade" from two queens to a single king bed. I've gotten more comfortable mattresses in places that cost a quarter of this price. I fell asleep more easily on the couch than the bed in my room. None of the features of the room made any kind of sense. Barn style door to the restroom, pixelated modern art, and a motion sensitive light UNDER the night stand, but no where else. All these things are nice aspects, but totally disjointed. It's like they hired an attention deficit teenager to upgrade the features and make it more hip but that teenager poured all the money into style with no though for real amenities. None of the light switches are placed in natural, sensible places. They all require several seconds of searching. The bathroom, at first glance, was lovely. All upgraded vanities, nice lighting, but the tub and shower head could have been 40 years old. At 180 per night, there is no reason not to have a deep soaking tub or at least a modern, detachable shower head. There are many, many better places to stay around the mag mile, especially at this price point.

  Staff was great, rooms were beautiful and clean. Location was right in the heart of the Magnificent Mile. Bar and restaurant made it easy to access amazing food and drinks. Pool was clean and warm, hot tub was as well. A little on the small side but fair. Fitness area was great and provided everything I need while away from my home gym. Worth the money for sure and I will be booking again.

  It was a very nice hotel. Staff was excellent and the rooms were very clean and modern. It's right off of Michigan Avenue but it's jammed to an area where there's really no good view out of any of the windows. It's also right next to a hospital so you will hear ambulances coming and going all night long. The fitness center was nice but the pool was very small. I purchased rooms there for 2 nights but after the first night I ended up leaving and booking at the Virgin hotel instead.
