::This is a really fantastic Holiday Inn Express. We stayed using my reward night and ended up extending our stay for another night. I did online check-in and received notice that our room was ready about 30 minutes later which was extremely quick. The receptionist was maybe new as instead of expedited check-in, she said I didn't have a reservation "go try a different holiday inn" I knew I was at the correct one so just asked if she'd check the already set out keys. She told me I was probably confusing this holiday inn express with the nearby holiday inn (non-express). I had to pull out my phone and show my reservation + the address before she would grab my keys, which were already set out with the other online check-ins. It was... uncomfortable. When we got to our room, I was excited to see I had gotten a room upgrade for platinum elite status so Yay on that!! Our room was a king suite with walk in shower and we loved it. The separate sitting area had a couch, chair w/ottoman, breakfast table, TV, mini fridge, microwave, sink, coffee maker, and cabinets. The bathroom was a standard sink+ shower with the vanity area outside of the bathroom area in the section between the sitting room and bedroom. Bath products are Dove brand. The bedroom was entirely separate and quiet as it was far away from the hallway - what a great way to set up a room! As always, holiday inn mattresses are just amazingly comfortable. I really haven't found another hotel bed that beats them. Even higher end hotels and resorts aren't as great as these. I'm only sad that the comforter seems to have changed. They are definitely not as good as they used to be. The bedroom was standard- king size bed, coat closet, tv, and end tables. All rooms/areas were clean and comfortable. We had the free breakfast both days. I love love love the pancake maker and the mini muffins. I had these both days. My husband had eggs, bacon, cinnamon rolls, an apple, and oatmeal. I would recommend this hotel to anyone as on top of being a really nice place to stay, it's close to pretty much everything in the metro area and its reasonably priced with free parking.

::Nice hotel. Nothing special, but everything you need from a hotel. Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Pool is a little small. No hot tub. Rooms could use a little maintenance. Bath tub faucet didn't work well. Lights didn't work. Nothing major.

::Great place for the price. Check in was easy and the front desk staff very professional. Room was clean and inviting for any weary traveler. Free hot breakfast buffet was a plus. Overall a great place.

::The rooms are dated, but the bathrooms are clean, the bedding is cosy and they have full size Dove products available. The hot cooked breakfast was very nice as well. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful.

::Not a bad hotel. Comfortable rooms. Breakfast was good, however, I’ve never seen so many foreign staff members stuffing yogurt, fruit, etc into their pockets. I also think a lot of people that eat there are not guest, look more like street people? Other than the odd experience at breakfast this was just what you’d expect from a newer HIE property. The area is ok, went for a short walk, but I’m not sure this was a great idea.
