::My girlfriend and I stopped here while on a weekend vacation to DC. We stopped for lunch before going to Ford's theatre. Service was great, employees were nice and in a great mood. Even after I got. . . . Drunk and obnoxious, they were still very playful and seemed happy to work there. Left a nice 45$ tip because they deserve every bit of it. 9/10 it's a tab expensive but that's to be expected. Employees are awesome. Food was good and hot. Drinks cane fast. I'd recommend it!

::It’s so sad to me what’s going on with Hard Rock. I regularly went to these growing up in different states. I never expected a whole lot for their food, but again I was never disappointed with it either... until I was an adult. This isn’t a trend with me as I still enjoy a lot of my childhood restaurants. The food quality isn’t there anymore. I always expected it to be commercial in a Hard Rock, but if you can’t even serve decent food then maybe you should change to the Hard Rock bar? At least then less people would expect better food and maybe be less disappointed. I feel like their menu was budgeted for inflation in the worst possible way. Inflated the heck out of those prices since my last visit.

::I am a huge fan of the Hard Rock Cafe and always visit when I travel. The DC location was a huge disappointment. The experience was horrible. Went with a group of 6 and we waited at the bar for a table. We ordered an appetizer while we were waiting and never received it. Once we were finally seated and our food came out one person from our group received the wrong order. Another from our group ordered a steak medium well and it came out rare. And a third person from our group couldn't eat her food because the food didn't taste good. The service was fine - the problem was the kitchen.

::The reception desk was very friendly and accommodating. Although the restaurant was very busy the greeter asked trivia music questions and made the short wait fun. Food was excellent and our waitress was pleasant.

::If you love classic American foods (often with a twist) and classic rock, then this is the place for you. I've visited several domestically and abroad and they are always worth the stop. The quality of the memorabilia changes from each locale. The music and service are always great with some even having live bands. If you want to miss the intoxicated crowd then plan to visit for lunch or a dinner before 7 as they are often very busy in the evening.
