  Aesthetically pleasing and posh bar and lounge, which is also a historical landmark, where you will always get the service you pay for. The historic Old Post Office is still visible via the original atrium with steel beams, mail chutes, and the clock tower which has a free observatory not affiliated with the hotel.

  Beautiful bar with a wide selection of drinks to choose from. The bellini was delicious!

  We were staying at the hotel and decided to give their lounge a try. "Lounge" is a bit of a misnomer because it's wide open and located within the massive lobby of a grand hotel. That's one thing I really liked, though. Comfy seating of couches and plush chairs and many people coming and going, without the server making us feel rushed. With our drinks, our server brought us an interesting assortment of their version of bar peanuts I suppose... jelly beans, spiced almonds and those styrofoam-textured thingys that were also spiced. We liked everything but the latter. We ordered their legendary candied bacon that does live up to its sterling reputation. There are only four pieces but they're huge so two pieces for each of us was perfect. We were having dessert later on so we stopped ordering but would love to try something else next time we're there!

  Stopped in after sightseeing. Didn’t expect to eat, but decided to have a snack. There was so much food we were full and skipped dinner. The service was great. Very approachable and welcoming. I expected them to be stuffy, but that wasn’t the case. The drinks were great. We had tray with two fabulous cheeses, two Italian meats, bread, and dried fruits. If you are looking for a bargain, you would be in the wrong place. If you want well appointed, comfortable place to chill. This is a good choice!

  One of my very favorite places in DC. Service is exceptional, food is also very good. The environment and ambiance is super delightful and charming. Excellently done!
