  Nice social environment, priced like you'd expect for being under the JW two blocks from the White House. Staff was friendly and prompt. I got to have a good beer, watch the Cubs,and not leave the hotel. A little more food choices and I'd probably gone 5 stars.

  Loved the atmosphere and our drinks were great, but don't expect anything extra. We requested waters with out drinks and snacks and we never received them. We received silverware almost at the end when we were finishing up eating. Service was extremely poor but the tasty drinks make up for it. I highly recommend the DC Sangria.

  Tucked deep inside the JW Marriott, this swank little bar is perfect for intimate conversations or classy drinks with friends. If you want speedier service, sit at the bar, otherwise prepare to wait eons for your drinks and food. The staff is friendly, just oddly slow. The drinks were fantastic - I especially enjoyed the Potomac Pear-suasion and District Drop martinis - they pour them (perfectly) at your table. The food is elegant and tasty. Our group really enjoyed the seating area arrangements with booths made of armchairs and couches around tables with your own flatscreen TV and remote control. While it runs on the higher-end of prices, they are fitting for the environment and location.
