::Checking out this hot pot place was a very cool experience, as I had never eaten at a restaurant like this before. It's honestly confusing for first-timers like my father and me, and you don't get much instruction, so if you've never been and forgot to do your research, best bet is to copy the tables around you. Service is a little bit slow, though I did not experience anything as bad as some of the other reviews of Happy Lamb. The fried rice didn't have much flavor on its own, but tasted good with the hot pot soup. My dad and I got the hang of cooking our meat and vegetables in the soup quickly, and the flavors of the broth were pretty tasty. The ingredients in general seemed pretty fresh and tasted good after being cooked. The sauce and dessert buffet was kind of a rip-off to me, and didn't look particularly clean.

::This made us so happy! We’ve lived in China for 11 years and this was like going “home”. We splurged on the AYCE and glad we did so that we could try everything. Fried buns, frozen tofu, the meats, the pumpkin, the mushrooms… and just get the sauce bar. It’s extra but worth it. Knocked it down a star because service was slow… we had to stand up and ask for more broth, another beer, napkins… minor but slightly annoying. The good though - just go!

::First timer here. For a Saturday afternoon, we only waited about 15 minutes for a seat. When we were seated, we didn't get an explanation about their menu so that was a bit confusing at first (lol they spelled broth wrong). The menu has R1, R2 & R3 next to each item so someone explained that it meant "Round 1", "Round 2", etc. The servings are very large, so we only had one round, it was very worth the price. We spent $75 for two people and had lots of leftovers. We didn't pay for the sauce bar but kinda glad we didn't, it wasn't a large selection and it was pretty messy. The restaurant itself seemed pretty clean. I don't know if they had the vent on above our table but the szechuan broth steam was blowing towards my face the entire time 😮💨. We got the house bone broth and the 7 pepper broth (which cost an additional $9.99). The bone broth could use a little more flavor but it'll do. We'll come back! The fried buns were good as a quick dessert too!

::Yummy hot pot time with my family. We chowed down buffet style. Plenty of veggie, seafood and meat options. Broth was pretty good too. Restaurant clean and staff were attentive. Overall good first time experience here.

::The food was the shining star of the experience! Loved the variety and the portions for the all you can eat lunch were perfect. The service was... alright I suppose. In the 2 hours we were there we had a member of the waitstaff at our table 3 times and 2 of the times we had to stand up to get someone's attention when attempting to flag one down was unsuccessful, one of the times it was to make our initial order after waiting 25 minutes for someone to come and get drinks started. It was a Sunday at around 12:30, which is an understandable time to not have more waitstaff available, especially since it seemed relatively busy for a sunday afternoon. Also, they could be shortstaffed which is always an added challenge that many restaurants are facing. All and all it was an enjoyable experience and the food was very good!
