  We've eaten at this particular Swagat a few times (many many times across the other locations) and this spot is alright. None of them seem to have been able to recover fully to pre pandemic service and quality. The Thali dinner remains a stellar deal. I got the lamb pasanda and it was very good. With an appetizer we can normally stretch two Thali dinners into lunch or dinner the next day too. One of three times the mango custard was pretty weird/bad. Not sure if it was just a bad batch or what. Had a lot of water or liquid with it and tasted off. Another occasion they were out of a few of their drinks which was annoying. This last occasion we tried the pakoras and got something decidedly not pakoras. It was okay, edible for sure. But not pakoras. No tamarind sauce. Just a mess of lightly battered loose vegetables. Almost like tempura. See photo. Bottom line is the food is generally good. But we've never come here and had a fully good experience. Something is always a little off or wrong. That isn't the case at the other Swagat locations.

  The food and spices and everything was quite an experience. We really enjoyed having lunch and the atmosphere was friendly and almost mini trip to India. Highly recommend come checking out Swagat.

  The service was amazing but the food was okay. Despite the fact that there were many mix-ups with our order, the kitchen was busy and it was closer to closing time. The food was alright, but I was expecting better. I'm not sure if I would come back again. Maybe in a smaller group of people and on a better time.

  Came here for dinner with a few friends. This is an average Indian restaurant. We ordered below 4/5 - Samosas - these were decent to taste. 3/5 - Chicken tikka masala - very standard curry and nothing over the top. You definitely can eat better in other places. The chicken was also bit bland. 2/5 - Moongdal lentil dosa. The dosa was okay but the accompanying chutneys were sour and lacked much needed flavor. I'm unsure if I'll give this a try again.

  Food is very good 👍. Our server is also very good. This is our first time back in about ten years. My husband used to live in the area and would eat here fairly often. After a move to Idaho it's been nearly ten years. They still have the best lamb saag. Today we also had the chicken curry 🍛. We also love the kheer which is served warm and flavored with cardamom. Thanks for a wonderful meal 😋. We will be back! Just as an add FYI they are open until 9:00 but usually stop seating at 8:00.
