::The food is top notch. Honestly, too good to be considered bar food. The drinks are a bit on the pricey side, but that's par for the neighborhood.

::Nice draft selection with solid bottles to back it up. (Hush puppies are proper too!)

::Don't come here. Stick to your 14th St lounges and U street bro haunts. Grady's food is no good, don't even think about it, especially the lamb burger or the crispy onion strings and sweet baby bird peppers served with a dipping sauce that puts the blooming onion to shame. The staff is mean and ornery, you can't keep them from serving you. The decor is off putting and the bar is made out of some kind of old, outdated antique wood. Definitely not new and shiny like the rest of DC. I hope I don't see you here.

::Norm and Cliff aren't necessarily sitting at the bar, but you feel like Sam and Coach, Woody and other friendly folks are there, making you feel at home! Happy hour food is great - there is a real chef behind this place.

::Walked in Saturday night when several nearby bars and restaurants were packed. Staff were very friendly and caring. There are limited vegetarian options but all were delicious. Drink menu is strong. Really well designed cocktails, excellent beer options including a scotch ale. Staff kept water refilled at all times, were really attentive to details. Definitely will go again.
