  This is really a case of "buyer's remorse". As a previous patient of Dr. Delgado, I had actually referred the practice to others and didn't think twice about scheduling my daughter's wisdom teeth removal with him before she went off to college (the reason for two stars instead of one). Since they had previously taken my insurance and I wasn't asked who my provider was when I called, I didn't even think about confirming if they accepted my policy. This was obviously a huge mistake on my part. Upon arrival, I was told that they no longer accepted my insurance (even though one of my providers is still on their website). I was told that they would still submit it but that I would have to pay for the procedure upfront. I asked what kind of out of pocket I could expect but was told she didn't know and offered no assistance in helping me figure it out. I was obviously a bit caught off guard but my daughter was leaving in a few weeks, was already mentally prepared and with the waiting room filling up behind me, I decided to have them go ahead. What a huge mistake! What should have cost me a few hundred dollars ended up costing me nearly three thousand! To add insult to injury, despite following their instructions to a tee, my daughter ended up with a serious infection and was placed on two antibiotics and steroids, leading to more out of pocket expense. I reached out to their office via email seeking help in addressing both issues and never received a reply. I called and was told that my concerns would be forwarded to the office manager and never received any response. I don't know why I'm surprised since we were supposed to receive a post-surgery follow-up and that never happened either. Obviously, much of the onus falls on me for not confirming the insurance. We were active duty military for 22 years and navigating life outside of MTFs and shifting insurance coverage is something I am still learning to navigate (the hard way). That being said my sister-in-law works for a dentist and was horrified that no one bothered to help me figure out my co-pay before service was provided. She said this is standard practice in their clinic. At this point, I would seek care elsewhere even if they did accept my insurance. They got my money and that seems to be all they care about.

  Their clinic is clean and they use up to date technology when it comes to your dental care. Also Dr. Kuzmik is very nice and really knows what is best for you. He will have to expect more visits from me!

  I had a tooth extraction done by Dr. Kuzmik and the procedure was fast and smooth. It was painless and we did'nt have any problems on processing our insurance coverage in their clinic. Very nice!

  The clinic is clean and the staff are very accommodating to their patients. The work done on the dental implants are very impressive. We are really thankful that Dr. Delgado is in town for this service!

  This is the first time I went to this clinic and all I can say is it was an amazing experience for me. The tooth extraction procedure was very smooth and painless. Dr. Kuzmik is very highly recommended indeed!
