  Very friendly and professional staff. The manager was actually from Chase Private Client Division. Anyway, I was satisfied with his service.

  I have had several unpleasant experiences with bankers at this branch. When my mother was on her deathbed, a Chase banker told me that because I was 2 days late to put my name onto a joint account with her, I would have to get her to begin the process. I should "coordinate" with her to go to a branch near to where she lived. When I pointed out that my mother would be dead in two days, she had no response. I saw no sympathy, flexibility or emotional intelligence. Jump ahead one month: the same banker told me that I would now be entitled to a special debit/credit card--a CHASE PRIVATE CLIENT card. No thanks. I declined the offer, since it would be a hassle to reconfigure the automatic payments I make through that card. But she and another banker assured me that I could keep my old card, and use the new card for travel. They were both very happy about the phone number on the back of the card for international assistance. I could have both cards? I asked. "No problem!" they said. WRONG! Yesterday, my old card was declined in a restaurant where I had just eaten. Awkward, to say the least. I called up Chase of course -- being that I'm a PRIVATE CLIENT now expecting some service -- but instead, I was treated to a little policy lecture: "Once we issue a new card, it's customary to close the old card," they sympathized. I got 0 service and not even an apology. I asked the banker if she remembered telling me I could keep my old card. She simply repeated the Chase policy. Folks, if you want your money being managed by the B team and you don't care if they listen to your concerns and you don't mind being treated like an idiot, you've got a friend at Chase.

  I went to a teller to withdraw money because I lost my wallet. The teller after giving me the money notified me that in order to get a new debit card I'd have to update my ID because he saw a different one in the system. He said that he was in the process of updating it and that I could come into any other branch and pick up a debit card the next day. Its been two days. My ID was not updated. I have online payments that I cannot receive as a result of the lack of a debit card. I have bills that will be late as a result of his inability to process a freaking ID change. I wish I knew his name simply so i can warn other customers not to let him interact with your accounts because if he's incapable to do that imagine what he'd do if you tried to ask for help with getting a loan! I have updated it today at another branch and will be using that one from now on!
