::I love this beautiful retro motel. My family always stay here when we come visit D.C. and Mt. Vernon. It is exceptionally clean and cute. Very welcoming staff. Most importantly it is just minutes from all attractions. I highly recommend this lovely site.

::The Budget host Travelers Motel Alexandria to me is a Gem that pleasantly surprised us with just the mere fact that Allan waited for us to arrive while being an hour after his shift was over cause the office closes at 9pm going above and beyond for us and to top it off we got upgrated to a room with a king size bed , how one would not want to return to a place that gladly does this right of the bat for you . For convince sake we parked right outside our door , the room was clean and cozy and just perfect for us , now we have a home away from home for when we are able to return to be able for us to do the town . I can't say enough good things about this place for I am thrilled that we found it , in Spanish there's a saying about the three B's , Bueno, Bonito y Barato . (Good , Nice and affordable.) We will be back and until then we will always have nothing but high praises about our new home away from home at the Budget host traveler's Alexandria motel. 5916 Richmond Ave , Alexandria .Virginia 22303 If you appreciate simple function , great utility and high functionality , you'll appreciate this place , just like the right tool to get the job done , period.

::For its location this motel is a very good price at around $80 dollars a night. The front desk guy is very polite and hospitable. He even had a fair amount of information on the local Alexandrian history and important US history connected to it as well. He also had good input on what cool historical sites and old battlefields there are around to see. -Non-Smoking and Smoking rooms available. -A short walk away from a liquor store and a smoke shop. -Cars on the roadway next to it are kinda noisy but it didn’t bother me, it’s background noise was like counting engine powered sheep as I slept. -Bathroom, towels and bed was clean -A/C worked fine. -TV with Cable worked fine too. -Microwave and mini fridge are clean and work well. - The Bed was a little stiff but I slept like a baby otherwise. Overall it was a very humble and decent place. An above average motel for its price and location next to DC and its many attractions, monuments, memorials, museums, &c…

::Price good, staff friendly, room clean. Dated as cheap motels are expected to be, but it was good. It was raining during my stay and you could hear passing car on roadway. But if you want a hotel, go get on. This was pretty good

::Stayed here while in town on a business trip for 1 night. The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. The ONLY reason I can not give this 5 stars is due to the noise that they have no control over. If you are a light sleeper you may want to bring a noise maker or something since the traffic is loud. Other than that a wonderful place to stay, clean, affordable, friendly, safe, close to anything you would want to see or do, and very reasonable rates!
